Technology vocabulary

- Eine Nachricht schicken means send a message; die Nachrichten sehen watch the news. Herunterladen download, hochladen upload and chatten chat online describe actions. Context distinguishes message/news and other polysemous vocabulary; no recording or actual account screen is supplied.

- Original text: Für die Schule benutze ich den Computer. Abends schreibe ich Nachrichten an Freunde. Die Benachrichtigungen lenken mich manchmal ab. The speaker reports schoolwork, messages and occasional distraction as different details.
- Benutze and schreibe are present forms with ich; lenken agrees with plural Benachrichtigungen. An opening phrase such as abends is followed by the finite verb in this declarative model. This fictional usage pattern sets no universal daily time limit.

- Possible benefits can be expressed as man kann mit Freunden in Kontakt bleiben stay in touch with friends, Informationen suchen look for information and Musik hören listen to music. Können expresses possibility or ability in these models.
- Original opinion: Ich finde die App praktisch, weil ich mit Freunden sprechen kann. The reason supports the speaker’s judgement; it does not prove every app is useful for every purpose or every user.

Disadvantages
- Cybermobbing means online bullying; ohne Zustimmung veröffentlichte persönliche Daten personal data published without consent; ein täuschendes falsches Profil a deceptive false profile. These expressions identify possible harms rather than classifying privacy or strangers themselves as bad.
- Benachrichtigungen lenken mich ab means notifications distract me. Süchtig can mean addicted as vocabulary, but attention capture or frequent use alone does not establish addiction. No clinical diagnosis or personal disclosure is required by this lesson.

- In the simple declarative clause Man muss vorsichtig sein, finite muss is second and infinitive sein closes the verbal bracket. Man darf nicht öffnen prohibits opening; man muss nicht öffnen expresses lack of necessity. Clause structure can change in other constructions.

- Gefährlicher als nützlich means more dangerous than useful in the taught evaluative model. It is a contextual judgement, not a universal technology fact. A learner may express another coherent opinion; comparison language alone does not establish the evidence.
